When
vacationing in Costa Rica one can save a lot of money over resorts by spending
some time looking for condo rentals in Costa Rica. Many resorts and hotels in
the tourist parts of Costa Rica are very expensive even though they provide many
amenities and great access to the beaches. A condo rental can provide the same
access to the beach and provide the amenity of privacy. No needing to worry
about losing your hotel keycard or listening to noisy neighbors in rooms next to
yours. Plus any hotel room, no matter how well it’s been cleaned will still
have that slightly used feel. But not a condo, it’s a home and you’ll find
yourself settling in, in no time at all.
Anywhere
there is a condo you are likely to find good deals on condo rentals in Costa
Rica. Most condo owners don’t live in their condos year round, choosing instead
to keep them as vacation homes. They need to keep the condos maintained and
maybe even use it to make money so owners rent out the condos during the times
of year went they aren’t using them. Many times vacationers to Costa Rica can
even find house sitting deals, allowing them to stay in a condo for free as long
as they keep up the property, walk the dog, and feed the fish and so on while
the condo owners are away. Sometimes these deals will even pay the house sitter
a small amount for the job too.
Condos for
rent can often be found on the Pacific coast side of Costa Rica and in the
capital city of San Jose. The pacific coast has been a tourist area of Costa
Rica for a long time and usually draws a lot of surfers and hardy partiers.
There is plenty of nightlife and sandy beaches for all though. The North
Pacific is the driest region of Costa Rica so this is the best place to go if
you happen to be looking for an off season condo rental in Costa Rica. It
usually rains once a day during the rainy season here, often during the early
afternoon or overnight, but the rest of the day is yours to enjoy. Visitors can
enjoy the white sand and black sand beaches and of course the surfing off of
Witch’s Rock and Ollie’s Point. During October through April is the time when
sea turtles come up to lay their eggs and visitors can get a distant but
exciting view of the hatching areas at Playa Grande and Playa Ostional.
San Jose
is a more relaxed area for those looking into condo rentals in Costa Rica. Most
activities involve walking the streets and checking out the Gold Museum, the
Jade Museum or the Teatro Nacional. In addition the city has a lot of great
historic architecture and if you are looking for a good dining experience during
your stay in Costa Rica this city has the widest variety of restaurants and
cuisines. Get a great alfresco dining experience at the Café de la Posada
right downtown and you can get food at a cheap price here by ordering the
platos de dia which includes entrée, salad, beverage and dessert for only
$4.
If you do
decide to get a flamingo condo rental in Costa Rica make certain you find the best
deals. Look for rentals during the off season and keep an eye out for those
house sitting positions.
